The Dive - Panama City

This is a cool place to grab a cheap beer and hang out. they do have two pool tables and darts. The bathroom is a little odd for the guys, but it is what it is haha. The service has always been great. From my last 4-5 visits I've noticed people visibly messed up on more than just booze. So just been on the lookout and keep your distance. Not that they were causing any harm to anyone but they're just annoying when they're slurring and tweaking around you and falling into you and your partner. So, it would be nice if the bouncers and staff would take care of this before something bad does happen. The beers are always cold, the live music is always great and if you like EDM they have it on some nights. Overall, a solid spot to grab a libation and relax along the bay. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming and very quick with service!

Really good dive bars are an awesome part of Americana. The Dive is no exception. The location is great, both the inside and outside areas are great and the staff is fantastic!!!! If you’re really lucky, you’ll get to meet Big Scott, a true gem !!! Somehow my wife always wants to go when he’s manning the kissing booth. Anyway, treat yourself and hit The Dive. See you there.

The Hobo is the place to be on Sundays! True Soul never ever misses, and neither do the drinks. It's always a fun atmosphere with a local vibe. Everyone gets along and dances with everyone. Now the food at the little bar, not so much. It was late so I got the last of everything but my Quesidilla was soggy and it had too much cheese but also, the pulled chicken (asada?) had a lot of fat in it so it was just mush.

We went to see Scratch 2020. They are great and a lot of fun to watch.

This is a great place to listen to live music! Unfortunately, the service rating is lower for me due to the female bartender who's often working there, as with every interaction I have had with her, she was surprisingly very rude and dismissive to me and to others I observed... :( Regardless, l all other staff I've experienced there, including security, have been kind & attentive. The atmosphere is enjoyable, they have a good amount of space inside and outside. They have a dart board and a pool table, which is a good activity to have available on less active nights. Overall, I would recommend this place to others in the area!

Place was poppin’ at 8 when we arrived due to a FANTASTIC… live band. Great service, quick, and appropriately low cost beer and speciality drinks. Good locals, friendly, perfect atmosphere. Felt compelled to write the review 3 hrs into my visit still sitting at the table. Did not try the food, due to my hunger level.

Fun place to play pool with affordable drinks. Darts and punching bag to test your strength was pretty cool. We had a blast! Friendly environment and not overcrowded with plenty of parking. Would definitely visit this place again.
